The RAF Honington Voluntary Band has had an extremely busy few months. The release from many of the COVID-19 restrictions and subsequent ability to hold Mess Functions and Parades has kept our Bandmaster Paul Jackson a busy chap. Getting a band back up to ‘match fitness’ after almost a whole year since they could get together for rehearsals is no mean feat yet as those who have enjoyed their performances can testify they have gone from strength to strength.

The Band has played superbly for RAF Honington Mess and Squadron Functions and as well as the Remembrance Parade in Bury St Edmunds. It enjoyed a resounding success at the annual outing to support the Royal British Legion’s Annual Ceremony of Remembrance at the Apex Theatre Bury St Edmunds.

Paul is always on the lookout for new recruits here at Honington and from the local community so why not get in touch via the Band’s Facebook page RAF Honington Voluntary Band.
