Halloween Fun at RAF Honington

During October half term the critters and ghouls from Airplay at RAF Honington dressed up and joined our spooktacular Halloween fun day. We had lots of fun carving pumpkin lanterns, making slimy shaving foam ghosts, and getting messy with pumpkin guts! We all had an amazing time and the young critters behaved gruesomely.

RAF Honington HIVE/Community Support Halloween Event

The RAF Honington HIVE Halloween Pumpkin competition was led by the HIVE Officer Amanda Bailey. The event was a huge success for the families, sections, and the personnel of RAF Honington. The Community Team had some fabulous entries with an array of amazing carved pumpkins showing a huge talent. All entrants sent their fabulous carved pumpkin photos to the HIVE Officer, to be judged by the Station Commander’s wife Liz Holland.

1st prize – Jackson and Ezmay Millichamp for their superb carvings and a fantastic combat pumpkin, it was great to see them all dressed up and ready for trick or treating too!

2nd prize – Jack and Sally Waugh for the scary green spider and the unusual dog design from “the nightmare before Christmas”.

3rd prize – Emma Stenson -Simple but brilliant, a very effective puking pumpkin! (or is it a fire breathing pumpkin?) excellent either way!

Well done to all entrants for their fabulous carvings and a huge thank you to the Community Development Fund for kindly donating the prizes.
